Tuesday, January 15, 2019 – NEW YORK< NY – The Family Homelessness Coalition, a coalition representing service providers, housing providers, children’s organizations, and advocacy organizations, released the following statement following Mayor Bill de Blasio’s State of the City address:
“Gov. Andrew Cuomo delivered his State of the State address yesterday and last week we heard from Mayor Bill de Blasio. While their agendas seem impressive, neither spoke at length or offered a robust agenda to address the record number of homeless families in New York. We look forward to working with Gov. Cuomo, Mayor de Blasio, the NYS Legislature, and City Council to secure the new investments needed to combat this ongoing crisis.”
