CCC is seeking a Policy and Advocacy Associate for Housing and Economic Security to join a team of staff advocating for systemic policy change to enhance the lives of children and families in New York City and State. This Associate will be responsible for managing a portfolio focused on addressing issues related to housing, homelessness, income supports, and economic security. The ideal candidate is one who is passionate about the wellbeing of children and families in New York, has experience developing community partnerships and/or working in coalitions, and has demonstrated success advancing budget, policy, and legislative priorities related to housing justice and economic security. This Policy and Advocacy Associate will report to the Associate Executive Director for Policy and Advocacy.
Citizens’ Committee for Children of NY, CCC is seeking an engagement specialist and/or community organizer with experience working with young people. The Civic Engagement Associate is responsible for program design and facilitation for CCC’s YouthAction programs, coordination of the annual Community Leadership Course for adult New Yorkers, and assisting with the mobilization of youth and adults in CCC’s networks. Reporting to the Associate Executive Director for Civic Engagement, this staff member will be a part of the communications and community engagement team, which uses various strategies to inform, engage, and mobilize New Yorkers.
