On Monday February 13th, the Policy and Advocacy team submitted written testimony to Assembly Ways and Means, Senate Finance, Assembly and Senate Children and Families, and Assembly and Senate Social Services Committees for the Joint Legislative Hearing on Human Services. In this testimony, team members uplifted CCC’s policy priorities, as well as the recently published Child and Family Well-being Index. CCC calls on our elected leaders to choose families and make tangible investments in housing, mental health care for young people, universal school meals, youth justice, child welfare funding, and early education.
