On May 26th we invite you to our  Virtual Rally For New York City’s Children where youth, providers, caregivers, advocates and policy-makers will come together to ensure the needs of children are front and center during city budget negotiations.

Mayor de Blasio released the Executive Budget that increases some investments that support New York’s children and families. However, as the city moves into its next phase of recovery, support for working families in communities hardest hit by the pandemic remains paramount.

After a year of isolation, trauma, and an economic crisis, we believe the city MUST protect and expand investments in:

  • preventing homelessness and increasing housing security,
  • addressing the lack of affordable infant toddler care in NYC,
  • increasing in school and community-based behavioral health supports targeting children and adolescents, and
  • investments in anti-hunger initiatives that are not focused on emergency food

Advocate with us for a budget that ensures all New York City children are healthy, housed, educated, and safe.

The Rally Starts at 9:30am on May 26th!
