On March 24th, Policy and Advocacy Associate Caitlyn Passaretti submitted written testimony to the New York City Council Committee on Youth Services for the preliminary budget on youth services. This testimony highlights the importance of investments in youth services to support young people, foster connection and community, and provide skills and employment. She also uplifts that we need to center on youth who have experience in multiple systems to ensure programs are accessible.
