On November 28, 2017, CCC testified before the New York City Council Juvenile Justice Committee at an oversight hearing about trauma-informed services in the juvenile justice system.

CCC’s testimony the impact of trauma; the high prevalence of exposure to trauma by youth in the juvenile justice system; and effective models for addressing trauma. CCC’s testimony also made recommendations to continue to implement a trauma-informed continuum to strengthen the City’s system.
