Last year, we created a New York City Council Districts & Community Districts Map that shows the geographic relationship between the council districts and community districts, and includes a table identifying the council districts and members and their corresponding community districts. This 2014 version is updated to reflect the newly re-districted council districts and the newly elected members of the New York City Council.
Most of the “community-level” data we collect from city and state agencies, and from other sources like the Census Bureau, are reported at the community district level. But we spend a lot of time lobbying and working with elected officials, such as city council members, who represent constituents in districts that do not align with these community district boundaries.
