The Executive Budget for SFY 2022 includes a series of proposals to address a $15 billion budget gap resulting from declining revenue and increased expenses related to COVID-19 and the related economic fallout.

CCC is deeply concerned about budget cuts and cost shifts proposed in the Executive Budget, as well as additional cuts that may take place absent additional federal aid. We firmly believe that protecting and expanding investments in children and families is the key to their and the state’s long-term recovery.
