The New York City Executive Budget for Fiscal Year 2015 proposes to strengthen, expand and/or create many programs that will improve child well-being in New York City.  This includes the expansion of full day preschool for 4-year olds, after-school programs for all middle school students, 100 new shelter beds for runaway and homeless youth and the creation of a new rental assistance program for homeless families.
