CCC testified before the New York State Assembly Standing Committee on Children and Families, Assembly Standing Committee on Social Services, Assembly Standing Committee on Education and Assembly Puerto Rican/Hispanic Task Force on September 24, 2015 regarding the impact of poverty on children and their families, as well as the effects and barriers it creates for them to be able to achieve self-sufficiency.
