Virtual Rally For New York’s Children | 2023

Events

February 14, 2023

9:30 am - 10:30 am

Save the date and join CCC as we advocate for a New York State budget that prioritizes the well-being of children and families across New York State!

During our Virtual Rally on February 14  at 9:30am, you’ll hear from advocates including youth, caregivers, service providers, and policymakers as we advocate for a state budget that addresses persistent and ongoing impacts of the pandemic and disparities we continue to see in the wake of our economic reality.

In her State of the State Address, Gov. Kathy Hochul laid out an ambitious vision and prioritized key investments that will address the multitude of challenges facing New York’s children and families, including by expanding mental health services for school-aged children, ramping up affordable housing production, indexing the minimum wage to inflation, and improving access to child care.

Yet we know there is an ongoing and urgent need for state leaders to go further to address the compounding consequences of the pandemic, economic challenges, and profound disparities experienced by children and families.

RSVP below and advocate for a budget that ensures all New York children are healthy, housed, educated, and safe.
