On March 9th, Alice Bufkin provided testimony to the Committee on Mental Health, Disabilities, and Addiction and the Committee on Health regarding the CFY23 Preliminary Budget.
The testimony highlights critical behavioral health investments needed in the workforce, in communities, in schools, and for the youngest New Yorkers. The testimony also highlights important preventive and public health investments, including for lead poisoning prevention, for NYC’s Article 6 General Public Health Works program, and to help combat the impacts of COVID-19 on children.
