On Tuesday, March 7th, CCC’s Policy and Advocacy team submitted written testimony to the City Council Committee on Immigration oversight hearing, in response to the FY 2023-24 Preliminary Executive Budget. In light of the surge of the migrant population arriving in the city, CCC provided recommendations in support of improving shelter conditions and housing access for immigrant families, enhancing education opportunities for English learners, funding access to legal and economic supports for immigrant families with children.
