CCC’s work this program year resulted in an expansion of after-school programming, protected resources for summer programming for middle school students, and championed salary parity for early educators. We secured increased investment in preventive mental health services, informed passage of bills that would improve the capacity of all households to save for college, and introduced a bill that increases the housing subsidy for youth aging out of foster care.

We continue to engage and inform New Yorkers on crucial children’s issues through our social media outreach and community education courses, and we’ve honed our data visualization tools to help us confidently and effectively advocate for resources and opportunities in communities where risks to child well-being are severe.

We are deeply grateful for the support of our Board and Advocacy Council and the expertise of our staff, which help us maximize our impact throughout the city and bring us closer to our dream of seeing every child in New York City healthy, housed, educated, and safe.
