On Tuesday, February 14th, Executive Director Jennifer March and Associate Executive Director For Policy and Advocacy Alice Bufkin submitted a letter to New York State Governor Kathy Hochul regarding 21-day amendments to the FY’24 Executive Budget. Based on findings from CCC’s “Child & Family Well-being in New York State” index released in January 2023, CCC recommends a number of investments in the New York State Budget that address the urgent need to lift incomes, increase housing stability, strengthen child developmental and behavioral health outcomes, enhance youth mobility, and strengthen families and communities.
