The Campaign for Healthy Minds Healthy Kids submitted a letter to Governor Cuomo, Majority Leader Stewart-Cousins, and Speaker Heastie on recommendations for federal block grant and recurring state revenue investments in behavioral supports for children and families. The Campaign recommended 50% of funding dedicated to mental health and substance use from the December stimulus and the American Rescue Plan should be directed towards services for children and families, strategic leverage of Medicaid dollars for an under-resourced children’s behavioral health continuum, and more.
