On Wednesday, March 1st, Policy and Advocacy Associate Juan Diaz provided written testimony for the Senate Finance, Assembly Ways and Means, Assembly and Senate Labor Committees hearing that examined the preliminary Executive Budget on workforce development and labor.

Juan testified on behalf of CCC’s support of legislation and funding to support the enhancement and indexing of the minimum wage for over 2.9 million workers, increasing the cost-of-living allowance (COLA) for the human services workers, and support for unprotected workers that have been left out of unemployment support during times of income insecurity.
