Policy and Advocacy Associate
Daryl Hornick-Becker manages CCC’s policy and advocacy work related to education, early care and youth services. His work focuses on expanding childrens’ access to high-quality early childhood education programs, equitable and responsive K-12 schools, and extra-curricular experiences outside of the classroom.
Prior to joining CCC, Daryl served as an Analyst on the Education Task Force at the NYC Mayor’s Office of Management and Budget, where he worked on the NYC Department of Education’s budget, tracked spending and reviewed DOE contracts. He also brings with him experience in higher education as an Admission Counselor for the City University of New York, in addition to advocacy experience with the New York State Association of College Admission Counseling. Daryl received an MPA from Baruch College’s Marxe School of Public and International Affairs with a specialization in Policy Analysis and Evaluation, as well as a BA from Vassar College.
